According to source, Bimbo was said to have
employed the services of a hired assassin to
eliminate the reverend lady over a yet-to-be
known reason on October 28, 2011 in Lagos.
The hitman was said to have shot at her target,
but the bullet hit her left shoulder.
The hired assassin was said to have fled while
Bimbo was promptly arrested by the police. She
pleaded not guilty to the charges, and was
granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with two
sureties.
Case adjourned till November 30, 2011.
