The decision come after the NDLEA operatives claimed news scan have revealed that there is still more drugs in Baba Suwe's body.

The NDLEA arrested Omidina while he was about to board a plane to Paris at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, he was arrested and placed under "observation" after a scanning device indicated that he had ingested substances suspected to be hard drugs.

The comedian has since remained under close observation at the NDLEA detention center. The NDLEA said they kept him to until he excretes the narcotic drugs from his system.

This has drawn public scrutiny against the NDLEA and some have criticised them of picking on the actor because of his celebrity. Yesterday a Lagos –based attorney filed a N1 billion lawsuit against the NDLEA over Mr. Omidina's detention.

Agency officials had claimed that they were waiting to check Baba Suwe stool and examine it further before further action can be taken.

Earlier, NDLEA spokesperson, Mitchel ofoyeju told SaharaReporters they had just confidence due to results from recent scans conducted on the comedian.
