Top African actors, John Dumelo and Mercy John will join a host of celebs as special guests at the 3rd edition of the Afro Australian Music And Movie Awards (AAMMA) scheduled to take place in  Sydney, Australia on October 15.



The award ceremony which takes place at the Enmore Theatre, Newtown Sydney will also see appearances from Pascal Atuma, Awilo Longomba, NSW Opposition Leader MP John Robertson, Nigerian High Commissioner, Ayo Olukanni, and  Desmond Elliot



The AAMMA which is the only African award event in Australia and New Zealand was created in 2007 by Daniel Okoduwa.This award event celebrates, appreciates and encourages talents within and outside the African community of Australia, the African continent and Diaspora; 'Friends of Africa' are also appreciated.



Past winners include 2face Idibia, Emmerson Bockarie, Jimmy Bangura, Monalisa Chinda, Ejike Asiegbu.
