Any student in any Nigerian University who writes the best essay on the topic - "The role of music in entertainment in Nigeria" - gets N500k cash from the top producer. The essay competition is being put together by Dynamix Magazine and the winner will receive the prize at the Dynamix All Youths Award taking place next month.
He has also pledged to continue giving out
500k to one lucky student every year.
D'Banj on his part gave out over 200k of his
personal cash to students of University of
Lagos when he went there to perform early
this month for the GT Bank show. He held a
small dance competition on stage and gave
the winner 200k. Other contestants were also
